Most pine cones are already within reach and have fallen to the ground by end of November. I spent 10 minutes picking up the clean ones and had a bucket full of them! Pine cones are simple and add so much character to any decor display. You can even mix and match different types and sizes from various conifers such as spruce, pine, fir, hemlock or cedar. Bonus points for finding a cluster that is still intact to the branch!
