How to Decorate with Common Items in your Kitchen

Updated: Dec 30, 2019

Kitchen utensils, spices, oils, and condiments are key to cooking, why can’t they be key to your kitchen space? It’s often difficult to find the perfect drawer or cupboard to store these items in a convenient way. Well don’t sweat it! Organize them neatly on your counter-top using similar containers or shelving that matches your style and “spice” up your kitchen. There is a variety of spice racks in all of the home goods stores. Don’t over spend, because this isn’t really adding to the value of your spices. Think critically and find a way to organize them that makes sense for you. Maybe even get a bulk package of containers that match and boom! Beautifully arranged decor for your kitchen. For me, I enjoy the larger salt and pepper shakers so I don’t have to re-fill them so often. These accent my tiny fresh garlic bowl and olive oil pourer. I also like to use common bowls and dishes in my kitchen to hold fruits and vegetables, see “Decoration Basics” for more ideas.
